Getting To Know Your Community: Roseville

One of the most exciting parts about moving is getting to live in a city or town that excites you. Few things are more fun than exploring your chosen home upon move-in.

To help, we’ve compiled some top spots for communities around Minnesota. The next stop on our Minnesota tour is one of two Twin Cities suburbs that are adjacent to both Saint Paul and Minneapolis-- Roseville.

Guidant John Rose MN OVAL

The Guidant John Rose MN OVAL is the largest outdoor refrigerated skating facility in North America with 110,000 square feet of refrigerated ice from November to March. The OVAL has a 400-meter speed skating track surrounding an infield ice area used for hockey or bandy. The OVAL is also used for inline skating and hosts an aggressive skate park from May to September and has hosted events such as World Cup Speedskating, World and National Bandy Championships, and Aggressive Skating and Biking competitions.

 

Como Zoo

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is free and open to newcomers and frequent visitors alike all year long. Their mission is to inspire their public to value the presence of living things in our lives. With a strong focus on conservation and serving over 2 million visitors annually, their expert staff is dedicated to the well being of the many plants and animals that live here.

Can Can Wonderland

Although nestled between Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Can Can Wonderland is just moments away from Roseville. This unique venue offers artist designed mini golf, a full arcade, and much much more. Along with these family friendly activities, they also serve boozy milkshakes and offer 21+ karaoke. Truly fun for the whole family depending on when you arrive!

Rosedale Center

Exciting changes are happening at Rosedale Center with interior remodeling and the addition of Von Maur. The 140,000 square-foot store is known for its outstanding selection for brand name and specialty apparel and is now open! Rosedale Center is an exciting shopping destination and features more than 160 retailers, free children’s play area, six restaurants, and an AMC Theatre featuring an IMAX theater, 14 screens, stadium seating and state-of-the-art sound.

 

Potluck

Whole family can’t decide on what to eat? At Potluck, Rosedale Mall’s take on a food hall, features 7 unique merchants. Offering lobster rolls to Nordiv waffles, Potluck has it all. 

Located just inside Rosedale mall, you can refuel after a long day of shopping or grab a quick bite before a movie at the AMC. Either way you’re sure to be satisfied. 

 

Bent Brewstillery

For the adults, grab a beverage at Bent Brewstillery.

Named Minnesota’s Distillery of the Yearby New York International Spirits Compeititon in 2015, Bent Brewstillery is one of Minnestoa’s premier spots to grab a craft beverage.
